How it works
When to use it
- Estimate your score before China's student fitness test and find the easiest items to improve.
- Check your total and rating from your item results.
Formula
Item score: the highest table level your result reaches (100, 95, 90 … 10); below the lowest level scores 0Standard score = BMI×15% + vital capacity×15% + 50 m×20% + sit-and-reach×10% + long jump×10% + pull-ups/sit-ups×10% + 1000/800 m×20%BMI = kg ÷ m², one decimalMen 17.9–23.9, women 17.2–23.9 score 100; underweight or 24.0–27.9 score 80; 28.0+ scores 60.
Bonus: results beyond the 100-point mark in pull-ups/sit-ups and 1000/800 m add 1–10 points eachTotal = standard + bonus; 90+ excellent, 80.0–89.9 good, 60.0–79.9 pass, below 60 failWorked example
Given: First-year male, 175 cm, 65 kg, vital capacity 4200 ml, 50 m 7.4 s, sit-and-reach 15 cm, long jump 235 cm, 8 pull-ups, 1000 m 4:05
- BMI 21.2 → 100; vital capacity → 78; 50 m → 76; sit-and-reach → 76; long jump → 72; pull-ups → 40; 1000 m (245 s) → 70.
- Standard score = 15 + 11.7 + 15.2 + 7.6 + 7.2 + 4 + 14 = 74.7, no bonus.
Result: Total 74.7: pass.

FAQ
How is the total calculated?
Standard score = sum of item scores × weights (BMI 15%, vital capacity 15%, 50 m 20%, sit-and-reach 10%, long jump 10%, pull-ups/sit-ups 10%, 1000/800 m 20%), up to 100, plus up to 20 bonus points.
How do bonus points work?
Beyond a full 100 in pull-ups or 1000 m (men), or sit-ups or 800 m (women), extra reps or seconds earn up to 10 bonus points per item.
What are the rating bands?
90+ excellent, 80.0–89.9 good, 60.0–79.9 pass, below 60 fail.
