Given: Calculus 4 credits A−, English 3 credits B+, Programming 3 credits A
- Quality points = 3.7×4 + 3.3×3 + 4.0×3 = 14.8 + 9.9 + 12.0 = 36.7.
- GPA = 36.7 ÷ 10 = 3.67.
Result: GPA 3.67.

Limitations
- Some schools give A+ 4.33 or use other scales; pass/fail courses usually aren't included.
